Please be advised there is a water main break in the area of 18th St. and Jersey Ave. that will affect water pressure from 18th and Jersey to Morris St.

Residents from Newport to Morris Street may experience no water or low water pressure until 12:00 p.m. at which time water may be shut off for the next 18-24 hours.

As a precaution, residents should boil all water used for personal consumption, including water for medication or baby formula.

Currently, city officials are awaiting word from United Water on the size and severity of the water main break. Residents are warned to expect traffic problems in the areas of 18th St. and Marin Blvd. (East and West bound) as well as at Washington Blvd. and 14th St. (the Target parking lot will not be closed) as work crews remedy the situation.
