Report on Property Tax Abatements in Jersey City

NJPP will release its report examining New Jersey’s long-term tax abatement law and specifically Jersey City’s use of that law. The event will begin with a presentation of NJPP’s key findings and will conclude with a roundtable discussion of Jersey City’s use of long-term tax abatements and the abatements’ impact on the city. The report will be released at the event.

The press is invited to attend this event, which is being cosponsored by the Sociology & Urban Studies Department at Saint Peter’s College.
