HPHA just received notice that New Jersey Transit will be doing "emergency" overhead cable replacement work at the Essex and Hudson street intersection beginning at 8 pm tonight and ending before morning. There will be 2 bucket trucks and no excavation therefore little noise is anticipated.All work will be completed tonight.

The HPHA annual Thanksgiving dinner will be Sunday, November 23rd.

The HPHA is now accepting nominations for open officer and director positions.

If you would like to nominate someone for an officer or director position, please email nominations@paulushook.net with the person's name, address, and contact information. Note that nominees must meet criteria below to be considered.

Nominations will close on November 23rd at midnight, in accordance with the bylaws.

To be eligible for a director position, members must have attended at least 3 meetings in the prior twelve months (including the December election meeting).

To be eligible for an officer position, members must have attended at least 3 meetings in the prior six months (including the December election meeting).

The annual HPHA officers and directors elections will be at the next general membership meeting, December 4th.

To vote, members must have attended at least 3 meetings prior to the December meeting, and members must have paid their dues in full. (Dues are $5 and can be paid at the meeting). Members must attend the meeting and vote in person.
