Details below:

On Tuesday, August 5, 2008, neighborhoods throughout Jersey City are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities for the *Annual National Night Out* crime and drug prevention event. Our intent is to involve each and every citizen of Jersey City in the events whether as individuals or, more hopefully, as part of an organized activity. Of course, we want everyone to be involved as they please and as is consistent with their role in the community. The event is also intended to promote Police Community Partnerships, Violence Prevention, Safety, and Neighborhood Unity.

The event will be located at Hamilton Park from 6:30 pm to 9:30 p.m.
