Crackdown on speeding during July

Jersey City speeders, beware - cops will be cracking down on speeding motorists starting July 1 and ending July 31.
The countywide initiative, called "Obey the Signs or Pay the Fines," involves police officers patrolling streets more often and issuing speeding summonses. Police Director Samuel Jefferson said violations such as not wearing a seat belt, reckless driving, speeding and aggressive driving will be targeted.
